With a career built on turning around underperforming organizations, Andrew brings decades of leadership experience from both the private and nonprofit sectors. He has a proven track record of identifying potential, building strong teams, and creating sustainable growth, most notably through his work revitalizing businesses and organizations across the country.

At NHCC, Andrew has focused on one clear mission: ensuring Native Hawaiians have the tools, opportunities, and pathways to succeed and remain in Hawaiʻi. Under his leadership, the Chamber has expanded its reach and impact through programs that provide practical support, including training, mentoring, networking, and access to capital.

He is the architect of Project Hoʻomana, an initiative designed to strengthen Native Hawaiian small and micro businesses while creating long-term pathways to economic mobility. What began as a pilot cohort has grown into a comprehensive program serving hundreds of participants across Hawaiʻi.

Andrew has secured over $1 million in grants and sponsorships, bringing new resources into the community and enabling NHCC to expand its programming, events, and economic data initiatives focused on Native Hawaiian commerce.  Membership and engagement have grown significantly as a result.

Beyond NHCC, Andrew has a long history of community service, including leadership roles with organizations such as the March of Dimes, Urban League of Philadelphia, Special Olympics, AccesSurf, Honolulu Zoo Society, the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, and others. His work consistently reflects a commitment to building stronger communities through opportunity and access.

Today, Andrew continues to focus on the future, developing employer-driven workforce pathways that create real careers for Native Hawaiians, regardless of traditional education, and helping address one of Hawaiʻi’s greatest challenges: ensuring that Native Hawaiians can build successful lives in the islands they call home.

Andrew welcomes partners, members, and supporters who share a commitment to advancing Native Hawaiians in commerce and building a stronger economic future for Hawaiʻi.
