On Friday, January 12, 2024, Governor Green recognized the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce for five decades of service.  "In its 50th year, the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce continues to be an exemplar of excellence, innovation, and resilience, embodying the enduring spirit of the Native Hawaiian people".

The Governor continued; "I encourage the citizens of the Aloha State to join us in recognizing the remarkable journey of the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, with special regard to its 50th year, for its outstanding efforts in broadening economic opportunities for local businesses and promoting economic diversity in the islands.  Let us celebrate the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce's remarkable history and look forward to the continued prosperity and cultural enrichment it will bring in years to come."
